Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 4, 2026
The short version

AI MindRoom runs in your browser. We don't have accounts, and we don't collect or store the decisions, context, or Advisor Packs you create.

When you paste a Pack into ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini, your content goes to them, under their privacy policies, not to us.

We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit and which parts of the Builder get used. It does not receive your brief, your Pack, or anything you type.

Who we are

AI MindRoom is operated by DataLabs Partners LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company ("we," "us," "our"). You can reach us at james@datalabspartners.com.

This policy explains what happens to information when you use the AI MindRoom website and the Builder tool at aimindroom.com (the "Service").

What the Service does, so the privacy picture makes sense

AI MindRoom is a tool that runs in your web browser. You answer some questions about a decision, and the Builder generates a text document (an "Advisor Pack") that you copy and paste into a separate, third-party AI assistant, such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini, that you already use. The Builder itself does not connect to those AI services and does not send your content anywhere. It generates the Pack locally, in your browser, for you to copy.

What we collect, and what we don't

What we do NOT collect:

What we DO collect (your name and email):

Each time you copy or download an Advisor Pack, we ask for your first name, last name, and email address. We use them to understand who is using the Service during its beta, and to send you email from DataLabs Partners LLC about AI MindRoom and our other products. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops all marketing email from us. We do not sell, rent, or share your name or email with anyone else for their own marketing.

Each time you copy or download a Pack, we record your name and email together with the date, the template you used, the name you gave your MindRoom, and the Builder version. This is stored in a database hosted by Supabase, Inc. Your brief, your context, and the text of your Pack are never included.

To have your details deleted, email the address in the Contact section and we will remove them.

What we DO collect (analytics):

We use Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) to understand how the Service is used. It records page views, general location at a country/region level, device and browser type, referral source, and a small set of events describing how far people get in the Builder, for example that a template was chosen, that a Pack was copied or downloaded, or which AI platform was selected. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and assigns a random identifier so returning visits can be counted once rather than twice.

What Google Analytics never receives: the brief you write, the advisors you choose, the text of your Advisor Pack, or anything you type into the Builder. Events record that a step happened, not what you wrote. We do not use Analytics to build a profile of you, and we do not sell or share this data for advertising.

Google's handling of this data is governed by its own policies: policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out across all sites using Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, or block analytics cookies in your browser settings.

LAWYER REVIEW: GA4 sets cookies. This is written for a US-facing audience with no consent banner. If the Service knowingly serves EU/UK visitors, a consent mechanism (and a GDPR lawful-basis statement) is likely required before Analytics loads.

Your content and third-party AI services

This is the most important thing to understand about your privacy when using AI MindRoom.

When you take an Advisor Pack you built and paste it into a third-party AI service (ChatGPT / OpenAI, Claude / Anthropic, Gemini / Google, or another), your content is being sent to that company, not to us. Anything you type into that AI, including the details of your decision, is handled under that company's privacy policy and terms, which you should review:

We have no control over, and no access to, what you send to those services or what they do with it. Please be thoughtful about the personal or sensitive information you put into any AI assistant.

Cookies and local storage

The Service uses Google Analytics cookies, described above, to count visits and measure how far people get in the Builder. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The Builder may also use your browser's local storage on your own device to hold your in-progress work (so it isn't lost if you refresh). This stays on your device and is not sent to us. You can clear it anytime through your browser settings.

LAWYER REVIEW: Confirm this matches the final build. If the deployed Builder uses browser localStorage/sessionStorage, this paragraph is accurate; if it does not, delete the localStorage sentence. If any additional scripts (fonts, embeds) are added, disclose them.
This page loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may involve a request to Google's servers to deliver the font files. If you prefer to avoid this, fonts can be self-hosted. Noted here for transparency and for the final build decision.

Who can use the Service (age)

AI MindRoom is intended for people who are 18 years of age or older. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you are under 18, please do not use the Service.

Data retention

Because we don't collect your Builder content, there's nothing of yours for us to retain or delete on that front. Aggregate, non-identifying analytics are retained by Netlify according to its own retention practices.

Your choices and rights

Since we don't hold personal accounts or profiles, most data-subject requests won't apply in the usual way, because there is simply no stored personal record of you with us to access or erase. If you have a question about your information, or believe we hold something about you, contact us at james@datalabspartners.com and we'll respond.

LAWYER REVIEW: Depending on where users are located, specific frameworks (e.g., GDPR for EU/UK visitors, CCPA/CPRA for California) may require named rights and disclosures even for minimal collection. Confirm whether a short "Your regional rights" section is needed based on expected audience.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Service changes. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
